And no Im not talking about my diet :-)
I thought Id share with you guys where I am right now with my planning tools.
As most of you have heard I am waiting on my order from Gillio of the personal size croco in red to arrive. This will be my main planner with calenders financial and all flylady and home/school related planning inserts.
I hope to have it late next week or maybe sooner. In the mean time I have this setup working perfectly for me in my personal chameleon. I will just need to tweak it a little when the gillio arrives as Im hoping to use the tabs and dividers that come in the gillio.
So then On to my work planner I kept an A5 Lyndhurst for work...I always seem to come back to this planner for work.. No matter how many times I try to use a different planner in work it just doesn't feel as right as this one does. I think its the zip and the fact its black and professional looking. It really suits the office environment.
Then there is the osterley , I did have a buyer for this but at the last minute she pulled out so I decided to keep the A5 osterley in Grey and boy I am sure I made a good decision. After all I did manage to get this new at 50 percent off on the filofax uk website. So I have put this almost back to the way I had her set up when I did my video on it.. She is now housing my Personal Development/ Life Binder Contents. The sections are Plans/Goals...French..Personal Development/ Inspirational Scrapbook Section and Motivational Section.
Then on to the two that are on the way to me.. I had considered an A5 yellow finsbury to house my learning and course work but at the last minute Id decided against it..But then my fantastic friend Kim told me about the A5 domino in Hot Pink and instantly I knew that this would be perfect for my course notes.. And she kindly bought me this for my birthday.. Isn't she sweet.. And practical at the same time..
So then that just leaves my health and fitness needing a home.. I was watching my old videos and was kind of regretting selling all of my a5 chameleons as I used to have my aqua set up for this purpose.. I had a quick glance on the uk site and couldn't believe my eyes when they had the one Ive always wanted (a5 rasberry) on sale again!!! So after no word of a lie about 25 attempts to get it into my basket (whats that about) I ordered it and am looking forward to setting it up as my health and fitness filofax!! Yay for me!!
So yes all my beautiful maldens are gone and a few other special ones but I dont regret it one bit..Ill soon have another beautiful and functional collection to be keeping me busy and of course orgainsed !!

Breaking up is so Confusing :-)
Hi Guys
Ok so some of you might have noticed that I deleted my last post... The reason I did is because I was having second thoughts about purchasing such an expensive planner.. (not about the relationship lol). So I sat and thought for a while seems as I have plenty of time for thinking now that Im single and I was feeling quite confused about where my life should be going and in what direction.
I was confused and thinking about being on my own, managing the house work and school.. Money definitely came in there too..And of course I thought about my lovely collection of planners that have been shipped out to new owners.
All this talk about this famous Gillio was everywhere and I was feeling a little sad to be honest that I did not go ahead with my order. What happened to having just two planners one for personal and one for work and learning? So in the mean time I placed an order for a personal osterley trying to convince myself to be good and happy with this..But in the back of my mind I was not content.
Anyhow I stewed for a few days and was kind of getting used to the idea of being on my own with my daughter... A new me, a new start...It was beginning to feel ok and not so scary.. But then I thought wait! Now even more will I need my planners to help me out. I mean up untill now as I was the only one working full time I didnt have to worry about house work, school timetables and events ect. But now that Im on my own I need to learn how to manage all these things on top of my own full time job.
Now of all times I need to be orgainsed! So then let me tell you I seen Mellas video about her trip to Gillio and her fantastic reviews of the different colours and sizes and not to mention the discount! It was like a spark going off in my head.. Now is the time to buy and I will see them as a gift to myself to help me along this new road I am on.
So I am doing it.. Im just gonna have two planners from now on. A personal Gillio in colour 460 pictured below for home and personal.. And an A5 black planner for work and learning combined. With the discount I will save nearly a fortune And finally it feels like I have made the right decision and that I will be ok on my own too.
I will keep you updated on my order and new setup.
Stay tuned for more........................

Filofax: Back to School File
Hi Everyone..
I'm excited to be doing a review on the new Back to School File that was kindly sent to me by the Ideas Network to review for my Irish Audience and for everyone else who follows me too. So a big thank you to the guys in the office there!
First impressions are great. It is quite actually quite different than the domino as I had thought it would be similar. First of all its a compact which I have never held before and have to say I'm very intrigued at how slimline it is.. The rings are smaller than expected but great for holding the essentials and on the go. You can see a size comparison here with a personal malden.
The next difference to the Domino is the strap. Its thicker than the domino strap and in my opinion feels a lot better and more secure.
I am also very excited about the insert that it came with that includes a pen loop. They were right to include this as the filofax itself has no pockets on the cover nor does it include a pen loop. It is a nice addition to and could be used to hold notes or stickers.
It came with no diary but a host of inserts. Graph paper, To'dos, contacts and fashion and white lined paper. It also includes plain paper.
The contacts and to do sheets are in a different format than usual and its really nice to have just a little change to a much used insert.
The dividers are a new colour too blue and green which would suit both male and female.
So is this a retro product for me or a new school addition for my daughter? Well honestly it would do just a good job for either. It does remind me of the old copybooks I used in the nineties and would match my pink chameleons perfectly.. But this one definitely will be used and loved by my daughter Nicole when she starts her new secondary school in September. In fact it will make a great addition to her satchel as it is so neat and easy to add things or take from it as she pleases. I tend to find that she would get bored with her homework journal as the months go on because it got grubby and used. With the Back to School file she can rearrange the pages and add clean ones each month to always keep it looking new.
You can purchase the Back to school file in Pink or Green at Filofax website

Book Review : 7 Habits of Highly Effective People
Good Evening All!
One of the books we were asked to read for the course I am doing was the 7 Habits of Highly Effective People by Stephen R Covey.
The seven habits of highly effective people®
Dr Stephen Covey's inspirational book - 7 Habits Of Highly Effective People®
Dr Stephen Covey (1932-2012) was and remains a hugely influential management guru. Covey's most famous book, The Seven Habits of Highly Effective People, became a blueprint for personal development when it was published in 1990. The principles may be used for life in general - they are not limited to workplaces, management, leadership, etc. Covey's concepts actually can help people to grow, change, and become more effective in really any other aspect of human responsibility that you might imagine.
Covey's Seven Habits are easy to understand, but like all the best and simplest models, can be a little more difficult to apply in practice. The 'Habits' seem very simple, and in many ways they are, yet to varying degrees they may entail quite serious changes to thinking and acting.
Be inspired by Covey's ideas nevertheless. They are wonderful.
The 'Seven Habits' are a remarkable set of inspirational and aspirational standards for anyone who seeks to live a full, purposeful and good life, and are applicable today more than ever, as the business world - and life beyond business and work - become more attuned to humanist concepts.
Covey's values are full of integrity and humanity, and contrast strongly with the authority-driven process-based ideologies that characterize management and leadership thinking in earlier times. Indeed Covey's methods extend and adapt with increasing relevance to many more areas in the modern world, for example parenting, relationships, mediation, counseling, etc.
Stephen Covey, as well as being a renowned writer, speaker, academic and humanist, also built a huge training and consultancy products and services business - Franklin Covey which has a global reach. Stephen Covey at one time or other also consulted with and provided training services to most of the world's leading corporations.
Covey produced a substantial body of educational and teaching work. The Seven Habits of Highly Effective People was his first significantly popular creation, and probably remains his greatest.
Here is a quick summary. I encourage you to explore and use his ideas.
Stephen Covey's Seven Habits of Highly Effective People®
habit 1 - be proactive®
This is the ability to control one's environment, rather than have it control you, as is so often the case. Self determination, choice, and the power to decide response to stimulus, conditions and circumstances
habit 2 - begin with the end in mind®
Covey calls this the habit of personal leadership - leading oneself that is, towards what you consider your aims. By developing the habit of concentrating on relevant activities you will build a platform to avoid distractions and become more productive and successful.
habit 3 - put first things first®
Covey calls this the habit of personal management. This is about organising and implementing activities in line with the aims established in habit 2. Covey says that habit 2 is the first, or mental creation; habit 3 is the second, or physical creation.
habit 4 - think win-win®
Covey calls this the habit of interpersonal leadership, necessary because achievements are largely dependent on co-operative efforts with others. He says that win-win is based on the assumption that there is plenty for everyone, and that success follows a co-operative approach more naturally than the confrontation of win-or-lose.
habit 5 - seek first to understand and then to be understood®
One of the great maxims of the modern age. This is Covey's habit of communication, and it's extremely powerful. Covey helps to explain this in his simple analogy 'diagnose before you prescribe'. Simple and effective, and essential for developing and maintaining positive relationships in all aspects of life.
habit 6 - synergize®
Covey says this is the habit of creative co-operation - the principle that the whole is greater than the sum of its parts, which implicitly lays down the challenge to see the good and potential in the other person's contribution.
habit 7 - sharpen the saw®
This is the habit of self renewal, says Covey, and it necessarily surrounds all the other habits, enabling and encouraging them to happen and grow. Covey interprets the self into four parts: the spiritual, mental, physical and the social/emotional, which all need feeding and developing.
Stephen Covey's Seven Habits are a simple set of rules for life - inter-related and synergistic, and yet each one powerful and worthy of adopting and following in its own right. For many people, reading Covey's work, or listening to him speak (now in recordings, videos, etc), literally changes their lives. Covey's thinking is powerful stuff indeed and highly recommended.
This 7 Habits summary is just a brief overview - the full work is fascinating, comprehensive, and thoroughly uplifting. Read the book, or listen to the full audio series, which is particularly impressive because it features Covey speaking to an audience.
In his more recent book 'The 8th Habit', Stephen Covey introduced (logically) an the eighth habit, which deals with personal fulfilment and helping others to achieve fulfilment too, which aligns helpfully with Maslow's notions of 'Self-Actualization' and 'Transcendence' in the Hierarchy of Needs model, and also with the later life-stages in Erikson's Psychosocial Life-Stage Theory. The 8th Habit book also focuses on leadership, another distinct aspect of fulfilment through helping others. Time will tell whether the The 8th Habit achieves recognition and reputation close to Covey's classic original 7 Habits work.
N.B. Various phrases on this page are registered trade marks belonging to Stephen Covey.
Stephen Covey's principles are protected intellectual property and feature strongly in the Franklin Covey organization's portfolio of products and services.

Lush Cosmetics Review Part 2
Hello Everyone..
As promised here is my second part blog post on Lush Cosmetics.
For those of you who did not yet see my first post Ill first give you a bit of information on the product.
Next up is the comforter which is their most popular bubblebar. It is a sweet smeeling bubblebar it almost reminds me of strawberry bubblegum. It contains berries and blackcurrant. This one turns the water bright pink with white bubbles!
Next up is blue skies and fluffy white clouds. This is a huge bubble bar and the piece you see above is one quarter of the original bar.. It turns the water blue and has an unusual but fantastic minty smell.
One of my favorite Lush items is their soaps! Lush soaps can not only be used as handsoap but also in the shower instead of or aswell as shower gel.
The first soap I have and love is Honey I washed the Kids. I have cut this into small pieces as I use this one as a handsoap. The reason I cut the soap is that I like to only keep one or two pieces at a time in the bathroom. Lush soap can melt over time so I only keep out enough to have on hand. This smell is beautiful and its kind of a honey smell sweet with a hint of caramel thrown in there too. Almost good enough to eat! The natural honeycomb effect at the top of each bar acts as an exfoliate. This soap contains rose water and honey oil.
Next on my list is the godmother soap. This one I have left as a whole as I use this as a showersoap. it has a subtle musky smell that is fantastic.
Last on my list is the rock star which is a fabulous sweet vanilla smelling body soap. This is great in the shower also as the lather is fantastic.
I hope you enjoyed this post and would recommend that you try any of the products listed for a nice relaxing pampering session.

As promised here is my second part blog post on Lush Cosmetics.
For those of you who did not yet see my first post Ill first give you a bit of information on the product.
Lush is a
cosmetics company headquartered in, in the United Kingdom. In 1994,
husband and wife Mark and Mo Constantine opened the first Lush store in
Poole[1][2]under the name Cosmetic House Limited. Lush adopted its current name on 10 April 1995.[3] There
are now 830 stores in 51 countries. Lush produces and sells a variety
of handmade products, including soaps, shower gels, shampoos and hair
conditioners, bath bombs, bubble bars, hand and body lotions and face
masks.
Lush uses fruit and vegetables, essential oils, synthetic ingredients, honey and beeswax in their products.[4] In addition to not using animal fats in their products, they are also against animal testing and perform tests with volunteers instead.[5]
In this post I will be covering bubble bars and soap!
First up is Lush bubble bars. A bubble bar is a fun product that you use in the bath instead of bubble bath. This product does three things. It colors the water, makes it smell divine and also gives you lots of luscious bubbles!
In my opinion this is a great product as not only does it give you all these wonderful features but also it is a huge product so you can get three to four baths from each one!
How I get the most out of each bubble bar is too cut it into three or four pieces depending on its size (as they are handmade the size can vary slightly). I then grate the product into a small soap dish and sprinkle under running water. You do not have to grate the bar but to me it maximizes the bubbles you get from each piece.
First up is the brightside which is my favourite bubble bar! This is a citrus bursting bubble bar and the smell just hits you when you open the product. It is made from natural lemons limes and oranges and turns the bathwater oroange. I really love this one and the smell stays in the bathroom for hours. Divine!

Household Binder in Ochre Malden A5
Hello fellow filofaxers!
Today Im going to give you a tour of my Household "Bible" which is housed in My a5 Ochre Malden.
This is my main planner and stays at home on my desk. I will give you a run down of all the sections and how I use them.
The above photo shows the back of the divider and you can see that you can hold documents or stickers inside it. I don't use the world map but I just love having it in there :-).. The ruler holds Martha Stewart tabs and notes.
The picture above shows how I have used the Martha Stewart tabs on my dividers to label my different sections.
Today Im going to give you a tour of my Household "Bible" which is housed in My a5 Ochre Malden.
This is my main planner and stays at home on my desk. I will give you a run down of all the sections and how I use them.
First up are the inside covers and notepad at the back. On the inside cover I keep sticky notes, paperclips and stickers in the card slots and zip compartment. I have a ziplock envelope with my Le Pen Pens in the front also. The gold divider is one I made myself from the Stardust Stack and the sticker is from a Glossybox.

The picture above shows how I have used the Martha Stewart tabs on my dividers to label my different sections.
The first section is my planner section in which I have two diary's. The month at a glance is where I note all appointments, days off work, birthdays and other important events and Holidays. In the week on two pages I plan out my spending, direct debit dates and all household task and chores. Here I use a color coding system where possible. The teardrop stickers are for recurring tasks and I use mark-it dots and arrows for everything else. I've shown you my color code sheet below.
The next section is my Flylady section and this contains routines from Flylady -Morning-Evening- and Weekly Home Blessing.
I also keep a first Aid printout in the Flylady section with a quick reference for emergencies such as choking, scalds or burns.
The next section in my Flylady is a recipie section and this is split into three parts. Savory Sweet and Cocktails and Smoothies.
I then have a christmas section and this has financial Sheets for budgeting, Master Gift List, Card List, Decoration and Lights Inventory and things I need to purchase for the tree next year.
I then have a section for my Daughter's school related info and also a new term shopping list as this can be quite expensive so I need to budget for this throughout the year.
Not pictured here is a finance section, and in here I have finance sheets and I use these for budgeting and tracking debt reduction payments ect.
At the back I then have three or four plastic pockets at a time and also a bus card holder that holds flags and other various cards. In the transparent envelopes I hold stickers, labels and reinforcements. In the next one I house take out menus. And I hold birth-certs driving licence or Identification and other important documents.
These really is a valuable addition to my home organization system.
I hope that you enjoyed this post and would love to know if I have given you any ideas.
Lush handmade cosmetics review
Hello lovelies
Hope you are all having a fantastic weekend!
Today I am going to do the first of my lush cosmetics reviews.
This is currently my other obsession aside from planners and stationery.
First up a bit of background on Lush cosmetics.

I currently make all my purchases online from the uk site and their delivery and customer service is second to none!
I won't quote prices here as they tend to vary from site to store and when sold in different countries.
The packaging is eco friendly as pictures below

So in this post, I am going to review their selection of bathbombs that I currently use. The best way to use a lush bathbomb is too fill your bath half full then get in a then pop in the bathbomb. You can then have fun watching it dissolve. Once finished I then use a small drop of bubble bath such as radox for a few bubbles as most bathbombs dont make bubbles.
First up is the Blackberry Bathbomb:
This is one of the larger bathbomb, it really is huge! You could cut this in half for two baths but I prefer to use the whole thing. The smell is as you would guess, beautiful blackberries. This also contains Frankincense oil. This bathbomb turns the water completely purple and the smell lasts in the bathroom for hours afterwards. Not to mention on your skin. I love this one!
Next on my list is the Spacegirl.
This bathbomb is not quite as large but has tons of cool features. It smells fab kind of a sweet fruity smell, It contains grapefruit and almond. This bathbomb has glitter inside and also popping candy so just as it dissolves and turns your water blue it starts to crackle and pop! Really fun for adults and children alike.
One that Is from the smaller range is Think Pink!

Tonka and vanilla combine in this bathbomb to create its luscious smell. To me its like vanilla icecream. It has cute candy roses and turns your bathwater bright pink.
Next up is my favouite, The dragons egg.
Next up is my favouite, The dragons egg.
This is a huge bathbomb but it is really the best one in my opinion. Not only does it fizz but it creates this creamy foam which turns into bubbles. It then starts spinning as it dissolves and ooozes this orange and gold glitter and foam. Again the smell is fantastic, its a sweet citrus smell Divine! It turns the water white and orange.
Luckily for you I have two of these and one cracked so you can get a peek at whats hiding inside..
I always buy two or three of these beauties at a time!
Next on my list is the Sexbomb!
This is another huge one! The smell is so sweet and sensual it is beautiful. That's because this one is packed full of sensual and relaxing bath oils. So this really makes the water soft to touch and leaves your skin feeling moisturized.
And lastly an easter special...
Drop this egg-squisite* bath bomb into a tub full of warm water and enjoy wallowing in the sweet as candy waters. A superb Easter treat for big and little kids alike, Fluffy Egg is a must have for fans of all things sweet, too.
I hope you have enjoyed these reviews and my next post I will be revewing soap and bubble bars from Lush
